What does Email Resiliency do?
The Motion IT Backup Mail Service provides multiple geographically dispersed mail servers, utilising different network connections and pathways to provide full redundancy across the service at all times. In the event of your mail server going offline due to a fault or planned maintenance, email will be directed into one or more of our backup mail servers, where it will be retained for up to 7 days. Once your mail server comes back online, all your emails are then delivered into the correct mailboxes on your server.
